The Hannya Orgonite painting

This piece is a living embodiment of transformation—layered not only in material, but in meaning.

The process began with a hand-rendered Hannya mask, traditionally a symbol of sorrow and rage in Japanese Noh theatre. Yet beneath the surface lies a deeper resonance: the kanji 般若 (Hannya), drawn from the Sanskrit Prajñā, meaning transcendent wisdom—the ability to see through illusion and emerge with insight.

To infuse the piece with energetic dimension, layers of resin were charged with finely ground clear quartz and shungite—crystals selected for their properties of clarity, protection, and subtle field harmonization. Copper leaf and copper embellishments were woven into the composition, amplifying the artwork’s ability to conduct and direct orgone energy through visual space.

Each resin layer acts like a frequency membrane, building an energetic matrix that mirrors the flow found in traditional orgonite devices. As light shifts across the surface, subtle metallic flashes reveal different facets of the work—echoing the many faces of wisdom, shadow, and awakening.

This is not simply a visual piece; it is a resonant tool—designed to quietly attune the atmosphere around it, offering protection, clarity, and elevation to its space and viewers.
